The hit by Thibodeaux was clearly targetting.  Rod Gilmore broke it down quite well.  There was head to head contact, initiated by Thibodeaux, and, key to the finding, Thibodeaux "launched" by jumping into the QB, which clinched it.

Was the contact initiated by Thibodeaux? I think it arguably was initiated by McKee getting tackled from the other side and driven towards Thibodeaux.  He didn't really jump into the QB. He mostly went straight up. McKee was driven into him, at least arguably. Note that McKee fell ahead and TOWARD Thibodeaux. You would expect the opposite if Thibodeaux initiated the contact. I can see that argument anyway, and I expect we will hear a lot about it from Oregon this coming week. I am glad we got the call though.
