Given the rankings of our players, why is the team only ranked #14?
Presumably after two tourney wins, this one quite dominating, that will change?
Rankings in the fall season need to be taken with a grain of salt. Small amounts of data.
They only had one tournament under their belt and only 2 or 3 other quality teams were there. After this one I expect them to jump up quite a bit. Not only was it a solid win, but it was against a very deep field with several top 20 teams. Also, they did it with two of their best players (Heck and Ye) playing far from their best.
They play at home at the end of next week and I expect them to tear it up and serve notice, kinda like they did last spring when they hosted Pac-12s and NCAA Regionals (which they won by 30 strokes)
