maybe it is you cannot play for two teams in a week
I think they define the "week" as the NFL week (Thursday through Monday). We are currently in week 6.

You would not play an extra game because of that scenario. Your old team's game was basically moved later, from the normal Sunday slot to Monday. Your new team's Thursday game was moved earlier from Sunday to Thursday. So you're playing games unusually close together, but not an extra game.
The scenario that could cause an extra game is if you're traded when your old team hasn't had it's bye week yet and your new team already has had a bye. I don't know what the CBA says about that.
