Must have been a fantastic match, although Stanford's RPI would have greatly benefited had PSU won instead.  Looking at the stats, both teams were led by their respective star MB, with RETTKE hitting 24-2-43 for .512 and HORD hitting 21-2-40 for .475.

At the halfway mark of Big 10 competition, Nebraska is in sole possession of 1st place with 10-0, although only two of those wins vs. ranked teams, @#13 Penn State and vs. #7 Purdue.  Yesterday's win vs #7 Purdue will benefit Stanford's RPI.

Meanwhile, Penn State is sitting at 3rd place with 7-3, of which 2-3 vs. ranked teams, winning vs. #3 Ohio State and at #12 Minnesota, while losing vs. #10 Nebraska, at #6 Purdue and at #3 Wisconsin.
