Shaw now has 3 DLs this year after getting 3 DLs last year. Those are good numbers. Some of those guys were more lightly recruited, but that’s more a result of failing to land the priority recruits than failing to recognize the need. I’m not totally against recruiting another really solid DL recruit for ‘22, but I’d be interested in knowing how the scholarship numbers look. Does a 4th DL mean only 2 WRs?  If so, I might balk.

BC has done a good job of pointing out that we've been in an almost continuous state of not filling our full scholarship allotment.  This hasn't been a real tradeoff we've had to face for several years.

Unless things have significantly changed, its more like, does 4th DL mean one fewer walk-on given a scholarship.
