as i remember jj hones came in ranked #33. if not for golf carts, jeanette could have stayed at 2 guard and jj could well have led that team to a national championship.

Totally would have. Best team that year, and just 20 minutes away but with Jayne's broken foot. JJ would have been the difference.

The timeline isn't quite right. If you are thinking of the 2010 game where we held UConn to 12 points in the 1st half and still lost the game, with Jayne Appel going scoreless, JJ did play in that game. See link to write-up from GoStanford.

The golf cart incident must have been later that year. That said, JJ could have made a difference the next year (2011), when we lost in the semis to Gary Blair's Texas A&M, with their guards being key.
