IMHO right now the OL is the issue. Obviously both Shaw and Tavita Pritchard bear responsibility there, but the OL coach is most proximate. Fixing the OL is job 1, 2, ... The DL can't be fixed very quickly because we won't have the bodies immediately available. That situation requires watching to ensure when the reinforcement arrive they will be effective, but right now the OL is killing our offense.

We can't run, the defense knows it, and they concentrate on our short passing game. We don't have enough speed to really have a "long" passing game, and our pass protection isn't reliable enough anyway. The defensive congestion requires McKee to be absolutely perfect on every pass, which nobody can do. He will get picked off, which makes him think too much and be indecisive. Vicious circle. The only way to get out of this mess is fix the OL. You can't scheme your way out of this situation. You need some OL guys to make some plays. If the coaches can't fix this, they better be interviewing, because things won't get better.

And, what I see, which makes it a spot-on coaching issue, is that they are getting worse, not better.
