Plunk won two Super Bowls with the Raiders late in his career. How long after the last one did he retire? And wasn't he a backup/injured a lot after the SB wins? I don't know, I favor any athlete sticking around as long as they love/want to play and a team will pay him to do it. And I say that even though I agree some athletes appear to me to hang on too long.
