Lex, your fixation on Harbaugh and crusade to denigrate his coaching is remarkable.
Do you think Michigan has much of a chance?  tOSU is on fire right now, and they have been spectacular for the entirety of Harbaugh's tenure at Michigan.  And they are 7.5 point favorites . . . at Michigan.  I think it far more likely that tOSU wins by 10+ points than Michigan pulls the upset.

Still, Michigan under Harbaugh gets 10 wins, in a much tougher conference, and a NY Day bowl (again).  
We're so far from that now it's not even funny.

We beat a top five team this year, we'll see if UM can.....

Even if Buckeyes poleaxe Michigan this week, you think Michigan fans would swap JH for DS ? As of today, how do you think Stanford fans would vote?

I grew up in Ohio, you lose often enough against the team from the North and you are not seen as successful, I'd expect that the team from the North might feel the same way about losing to tOSU....

and no, they would not swap Harbaugh for Shaw, but they might still think they can find someone who can beat tOSU.....

tOSU has just flat had better teams in the Harbaugh Era.  They are an uber elite team, much to MichiganFan's (and Harbaugh's) detriment.

Michigan is far better than Michigan State.  Sparty has just won a couple games recently (including this season) that were just brutal . . . but not reflective of the relative strength of the programs.

And BC, the reason the Harbs-Shaw discussions come up is because for years (and even now), the Shaw Proponents will say "Stanford has won X conference titles after Harbaugh left; Harbaugh has won 0 conference titles at Michigan . . . as if that's indicative of anything.  If Stanford's teams under Shaw had to play tOSU every one of those years, I'd bet good money that Shaw would have 0 conference titles, too.  It's really a non-sequitur.  The whole discussion is a non-sequitur, imo.

We've got our own problems that need to be addressed, and Harbs ain't any part of the solution.

I actually think JH is a very good coach.  Always will appreciate what he did here.

Lex can you update us again…I think you said it went like this.

Lex goes up to Harballs after a big win and says (after thinking what to say for hours, days, weeks) “Co Co Coach, this is the best team in 30 years”

Harballs replies in seconds “What, not the best team ever?”

Nice memory. Except it was 40 years. Don’t think I stuttered though. Good touch, nonetheless. Classy!
