Again, I have good reason to believe that Shaw will be the first and last HC to appear on form 990 at Stanford for some time.
In 2019, the 5th highest salary was $2.5 million, so that is probably your upper bound. I think you can get a decent coach for that, but I’d expect that short of an alum, you would not get them to stay if successful.
