Per a source on another board who is close to him, Howard gets what is going on.
I think the only way Muir if let go is either if there is a campaign similar to 36 Sports Strong with a lot of alumni support or enough big donors apply pressure for him to leave, I don't see either happening anytime soon...
Football revenues are going to decline precipitously next season with (a) crappy schedule, and (b) the same architect of "entertaining football" at the helm. Have no clue if the dip will be sufficient to gain anyone's attention, but that wouldn't surprise me. Also, am very concerned about the game day atmosphere for next season (CalFan and NDFan papered over some of the extant rot this past season). And the record will only exacerbate the no-shows.
