In keeping with the gloom-and-doom topic, 4-star safety Kamari Ramsey--who recently decommitted from Stanford--committed to UCLA today (Tuesday). Double ouch!

Pretty sure this was widely expected, though it still does hurt.  Our safeties haven’t exactly lit the world on fire since Justin Reid.

Yeah, I think if you checked out his recruiting profile UCLA was definitely where he was headed when he said no to us. He said he really liked his future teammates there and felt very comfortable when the coaches showed him how he was going to be used on defense.
Not sure what they told him that we didn't, but maybe staying closer to home had an appeal to him also.
