There's a good chance it did, although maybe 3-9 means you have a chance to get on the field (and to the NFL) earlier.
According to the recruiting analysts two weeks ago he said he was still favoring Stanford, so who knows what changed his mind. I suspect it was the in home visit the UCLA coaches did a week or so ago. I wonder if we had one to plead our final case.
