Anybody else watch the Texas - San Diego game on Sunday?  I thought it was interesting.
Each team had only hours to prepare. 

San Diego lost to ASU on Saturday, agreed to play late Saturday night, flew to Vegas on Sunday morning, arriving 4 hours before tip-off, and flew home after the game.
San Diego has another game (Texas State) on Tuesday.

San Diego did far better than I expected, staying within 10 points for virtually the whole game.
Down 8 going into the 4th.  Down 9 with 3 minutes to go.

Texas's Rori Harmon only played 7 minutes total before fouling out.

So, how did this undersized, under-talented team hang in there?
Both ends of the court were chaotic.  SD was jumping from player to player.  Texas rarely got to run a set play.  Texas had some good transitions in the 2nd, but otherwise wasn't well oiled.

One of the things that SD was doing that I don't see Stanford doing (and maybe with good reason) was inbounding the ball well in front of a (defended) player.  When the SD player got to the ball, she was already moving at a good pace.

I'd be curious what other people thought of the game.

(If Stanford is #2 in the polls this week, I expect there will be some Longhorn fans saying they should be #2.)
