Added transfer safety Patrick Fields, who is a fifth year and has already played four years, but has an extra year due to 2020 not counting). What an outstanding get. I penciled him in as starter; if he started for Oklahoma (and was all-Big 12 HM), I'm guessing he'll be our best safety.

Suddenly, we have a bit of depth at the position.

Scholarship counter now at 88. Three must depart roster.

Looks like Fields is on a full academic scholarship (aka full financial aid and not a football scholarship), so he's effectively a walk-on. Will start regardless.
