One of the advantages of all the cancellations and waiting so long to play is that there is no chance any of our players will take any game for granted.  Each game is precious now.  Could this game be the last game that Lacie and Lexie play in front of their Washington fan base?  I think we are going to come out and play hard.

I sure hope so.

All these game "postponements" had me wondering if Geno was just saving 'em all up for when St. Paige gets back.

I know Geno's not popular around these parts, but he does not care about anything other than championships. I guess more games with Paige would give her more time to work her way back into shape, but like anyone who has devoted their life to the sport, I can't see any reason why he'd root to have games postponed.

No Brink no Prechtel
So we shall see what happens

This season will benefit teams with quality depth and we are probably one of the deepest teams in the country.  Yes no Brink and Prechtel isn’t ideal but Belibi, Iriafen and Demetre can all play the 4/5.   Along with starter Jones and probably Emma-Nnopu if needed.

Yeah, this'll be an interesting test. WSU is not an especially tall team, so I don't think we'll hurt in the post, and we have more guards/wings than we've had playing time, so this could be an opportunity for some of our bench players to shine.... But first we need to build a lead...
