We gave up football at State way back when. It was a long time from the glory days of the Socher Brothers at QB for eight years and Bob Toledo. A bunch of conference titles under Joe Verducci and Vic Rowen. Foggy Friday nights at Cox Stadium and then chili dogs at Beeps or Tic Toc. Still it pissed off me and my old teammates. But you get over it.
