One of my favorite sculptures on campus, and indelibly etched in my mind as the center of student life--far more than the old quad.  So many events at White Plaza.  The one that sticks in my mind was the candlelit vigil for the Tienanmen Square massacre.  Students surrounded the Claw and every other part of White Plaza with candles.  It was beautifully sad.
