Your comment prompted me to look up the box score of the 2009 UConn game, and, indeed, she was a ref in that game, along with Eric Brewton and Felicia Grinter (don't recognize these two names). Which bring up a couple of thoughts: (a) During the regular season, do refs like MB work exclusively for one conference (PAC-12 in the case of MB), or could they work of several conferences (e.g., working PAC-12 and WCC makes geographical sense)? (b) If MB is exclusively a PAC-12 ref during the regular season, I am surprised that she would be assigned to a game involving a team from her regular season conference. In a FB bowl game involving say, an SEC and a BIG team, one would expect an officiating crew from a neutral conference like the ACC or PAC-12.
