Oh, don't forget losing to Udub. That's the kind of loss that seals this team's fate. I also think losing by nearly 20 to Santa Clara was demoralizing, irrespective of that team's net ranking.
As for the fire Haase posts, my memory is that most were pretty nuanced critiques of Haase's misuse of matchups and players on this team. It's not so much losing to that squad as it is how it was lost. Stanford has built-in disadvantages, starting with no transfers year in and year out. Last thing this program needs is a coach who can't or won't maximize whatever talent and personnel he has at his disposal.

Losing on the road to the 3rd-best team in the conference (LOOK AT HOW WELL OREGON IS DOING) by pretty much exactly the Vegas line is not "the sky is falling."
Let's save that for losing a gimme, which we have many chances at from here on out. So far there are no real bad losses (i.e. losses to teams clearly worse than us) on the season. Santa Clara is NET #67 and on the bubble, by the way.
Oh, and the team was pre-season picked 9th in conference.
