Shaw is the Labrador who fetched anything, chased quail, jumped in the creek and then spent the last five years of life sitting by the wood stove in the winter and in the sun of the patio in the summer. Had to retrieve my morning newspaper myself. Exception is that Shaw has never been lovable.
