Question for those who have commented: what REALISTIC thing could Shaw have said that would give you encouragement? (I say realistic, because announcing he's taking a pay cut, firing half the staff, or relinquishing play-calling duties are not realistic.)

"We haven't gotten S&C right since Shannon Turley left. The injury rates are unacceptable and keep us from staying competitive with the best teams in the conference. I'm committed to getting this right and have brought in an entirely new team to do just that."

"It wasn't just a few plays here and there that separated us from our opponents in the second half of the season. We got pushed around on both sides of the ball. We need to get things right in the trenches to allow our skill position players to flourish."
