Are you sure it wasn't public? I recall that it was announced when she was on the top 25 list that she'd verbally committed to Stanford -- not just had an offer,  and then she started writing a blog that appeared on ESPN from time to time about her basketball plans, including her plan to go to Stanford.  Is my memory failing me here?

I think you're right. Certainly I remember she broke a long precedent by announcing her commitment very early. I don't remember the blog but may just have forgotten!

Googling a bit finds a lot of great articles, but I didn't find the blog. Here's a really nice article from USA Basketball in May 2014 that mentions her Stanford commitment: https://www.usab.com/news-events/news/20...egacy.aspx

Maybe not a blog, but perhaps a sort of diary? At any rate, there were a number of pieces from her in that year after she'd verbally committed that appears somewhere, I think ESPN, but maybe somewhere else. I do remember reading them
