Brrr! Was at the game. Just a handful of brave souls out there to cheer on the teams, but it seemed like close to half were there for Stanford. Besides the temp in the upper 30s, there was also a steady breeze coming in from the outfield, which was almost impossible to escape. Supposed to rain (light) tomorrow, with the temp just above 40. I probably won’t make up my mind about attending until game time.
Re the game, good to see the swagger in the offense. We had a few more shots that came up just short of the wall. Probably would have scored more with warmer weather and no breeze from the outfield. We also got some sterling defensive play from Tommy Troy, including a spectacular diving catch to end the inning with a runner on third (and silence some rowdy Cajun fans).
