Sorry, I’m not going to join the ucon pity party.
Ucon wouldn’t have to rely on pity to get ranked fairly if they played in a competitive conference wherein they could beat tough teams in their conference tournament to show the selection committee their worth. Also, with all their highly-rated recruits, ucon should have been resilient enough to beat unranked teams this season even with one of their starters injured. Last year Arizona beat ucon and Stanford beat SC to earn their way into the Final Four. Let all teams be ranked and evaluated based on their actual performance, not on ifs or maybes.
