I'm sure that UTSA's winning streak gave them confidence, but not as much as Stanford's four errors did. And even with all of the errors and non-error miscues (HBP, failure to get outs in sacrifice situations), Stanford still took this game to the wire. Like I said, it was a very good roadie with an ugly finish. The great thing about baseball is that there's another game in a few days with a chance to (1) show that Monday's game was a fluke and (2) start a new winning streak. I think this team is (again) CWS material, so I guess I have high expectations. So to answer Madera86's question, yes, I expect Stanford to win every mid-week game. That's how much better this team is than the mid-week competition, IMO.
