I’ll listen and watch when I can get the game. But I will never buy a ticket again.

I actually used to attend a lot of games as a teenager.  The 1981 MLB strike shook my confidence to its core.  I've never attended more than one game in a season since then, though I watch all I can on television, and have half a dozen Giants gear items.

Fond memories of the strike in '81. Worked at the Danville Hotel Restaurant and Saloon, and Billy Martin came in pretty much every day during the strike to have a few pops with the manager. Quite the drinker, Billy. . . .

Yep.  Killed him in the end.

The current situation affects me not at all. I never believed the owners were particularly laudable figures, nor did I think the players were all (or mostly) "great guys". It is a business, and always has been a business. People cheat to win. The owners pay the players as little as possible and the players try to maximize their individual compensation. Nothing new here, nothing to see here. If you want to watch baseball, do it because you like the game and it makes you happy. Watching because of who owns/who plays is IMHO a fool's errand.

Great.  So, how do I watch MLB during a lockout, Goose?
