Playing Gonzaga in Spokane . . . that would be a tough match up.
The Zags are well-coached, at least that is my distinct recollection when watching them on the Farm in the last year or two.

Yes, we didn't beat them handily in Spokane earlier in the season. Of course, we'd both have to get there.

As for not beating the "handily" earlier, I think that was the game when 7 of the 17 players on our roster were out due to Covid protocol or other reason. One of the missing was Haley. Ashton started in her place, played 23 minutes and had 8 points. In the 2nd quarter, we were down by as much as 15 points before a 14-4 run to close the quarter cut the Gonzaga lead to 3 at halftime. We were ahead by 2 at the end of the 3rd, then tight nearly all the way to the end when Stanford won by 4. 48% field goal shooting vs Gonzaga's 37% was the difference maker, more than making up for their 9 point margin at the free throw line. Bottom line, yes, they could be a challenge -- though when they came to Maples, we really did dominate.
