So Russell Wilson gets traded for two first round picks, two second round picks and three players.  If that's what Russell Wilson is worth, what is Jimmy Garoppolo worth?

Maybe a couple 3d to 4th round picks.  Wilson is elite.

Wilson also has two years remaining on his contract at well below market, which is obviously valuable.

All things being equal I think Garoppolo would garner at least a 2nd-3rd round pick but his shoulder surgery complicates his market.

In ideal world, Jimmy gets released and then chooses the team he wishes to play for - the surgery and uncertainty resulting from same, increased his odds on that front.  I STILL don't get why a team would give the 'Niners much of anything for Jimmy and his extant contract.  I know someone here posted that he has a good price tag, but I still find that hard to believe . . .
