D.  How come they didn’t place a runner on 2nd in the 8th.  Change of rule after all these years ?

I was wondering that too (though I am not complaining since we lost our last game to DePaul with the runner on second rule;
especially since the game apparently started almost 2 1/2 hours late, and then had a delay in T8 when the lights at the stadium
went out).
