I guess I may be dreaming but didn’t your injured QB just get you to the NFC Championship?

You have lost a few guys but none of them are irreplaceable and you improve your CB position. The new slot corner ( Moseley) is a real corner who will play both positions.

You retain the best combo WR/RB in football and a top 5 TE. An almost 1,000 yard RB who missed six games. A Mike LB who played like an All Pro in the second half of the season. Two other LB’s who are dynamic.

You do have questions. Kinlaw? Left guard? Another edge? Safety? But every team has questions.

Now you entrust your season to a kid with very little experience. A possible career breaking decision for your coach and GM. Big dice roll.

JG did nothing in the playoffs. That was true in ‘19 as well.


Lynch and Shanahan made that dice roll last year when they traded two first rounders.  They have already tied their fortunes to Lance. 

And Phogge, we simply disagree on JG’s value.  I don’t think he’s very good.  I think the lack of interest shown suggests that most GMs don’t think he’s very good either.  

As to Bosa and Deebo, I think Niners have to clear space to do the extensions.
