UConn shoots so many mid range jumpers.  I think we will see quite a bit of Hull, Hull, Jones, Belibi, Brink.   That’s a lot more length to shoot over vs some of NC States tiny guards.

It didn't look to me like Paige was shooting over NC State's guards, per se; rather, she was rubbing off screens and finding space (usually going right) for pull-up jumpers that were largely uncontested.  It may well be that Paige could pull up with a shorter person right in her jersey, but I don't recall seeing that much last night.

Whether it's a Hull or Wilson (or anyone else) on Bueckers, the premium will be keeping someone in front of her.  And maybe your lineup works the best insofar as the help height (i.e., those defending the screener) need not be "as close" as other potential lineups to affect Paige's accuracy.  But Stanford can't sleep on Fudd, either.  She was very clutch against NC State, even if her backcourt mate got all the publicity.

Good point about the screens.  That seemed to be UConn's offense in the 2 OTs.  Screen for Bueckers or screen for Fudd.  Would not be surprised to see our guards fighting through screens in the 1H and then changing to the Hull, Hull, Belibi, Jones, Brink lineup in the 2H that switches everything.
