yes, I just hope he can stay on this streak. Not sure why he just stops hitting like he does, but let's hope he stays on it as this lineup needs a boost like he had over the weekend!!!
Another good sign. Jones seems to be getting his stroke back. If he gets to 2/3 of last season, Martinez stays hot, and Montgomery keeps it up, my main concern is pitching.
I concur. I think our hitters - as a group - have a chance to be one of the most dangerous lineups in the country. Seven of the starters have big time power and can also hit for average. Our two line drive hitters are solid at that doing just that. The pitchers' upside doesn't strike me as nearly as high: we have two stud starters and a handful of solid pitchers behind them.
Not so sure about the pitchers behind our two aces. They had their moments early in the season but since then, well ...
