Having Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. at full capacity might make it a tighter series, but the Warriors have more better player than the Nuggets even with those guys. They can put a lineup of 4 All-Stars and now All-Star level Jordan Poole on floor together. No other team in NBA can do this. They also have a deep bench, so can beat any team, not just the Nuggets. They in fact did beat every team in the NBA this season, even without their best players available as they are now.


The Celtics and Nets might be the most competitive 2-7 series ever. A 1pt game after 1, tied at half, and though Boston led by 11 after 3, Brooklyn outscored them 29-19 in 4th and Boston won by a pt at buzzer. And no reason to believe these teams won't continue to play tight games.

Chicago had a real chance to steal Game 1 in Milwaukee, but just couldn't make a shot in 4th quarter.

My Toronto pick looks ill-fated now that two key Raptors players are out of Game 2.

Atlanta was the sexy choice to upset Miami, but upsets don't usually happen after a #8 gets pummeled by a #1 in Game 1 of a series.

Minnesota and Memphis is the most offensively pyrotechnic series that looks the least like playoff basketball.

Utah and Dallas is the most misleading matchup with Doncic out.

New Orleans has no business in the playoffs.  I mean they were the #9 seed.
