The 24-31 (3-21 Pac-12) season in 2018 was actually Coach Allister's first season (however, they immediately beat consensus expectations of finishing last place in the Pac by finishing 8th ahead of Utah). From there, she has put up at least #2 regional seeds in every year with a tourney played (and the 2020 season was for sure going to be another good campaign leading to a tourney berth and maybe a possible regional host). 

This year, they have a real chance to host a regional, if not achieve their highest #2 regional seed so far (and I think outside of Oklahoma, any regional host is going to prefer an alternative #2 regional seed to us and our pitching staff).
