Purdy was the eighth rated QB in the 2022 draft by Pro Football Network, #10 on NFL Draft Buzz and #7 on Walter Football. I couldn't find him on the Top 10 lists of the other 1/2 dozen top 10 lists; not SI, not CBS, not others.
Comments are interesting. He's a dink and dunk passer, no elite trait, can be overconfident, very good decision maker, but can't escape the blitz, has a strong arm, can throw short and intermediate throws, steps up in the pocket, resets his seat well. Makes split second decisions, smart.
On the down side, he's short and dumpy, can sail throws, can throw too hard sometimes, tries to thread the needle too much, doesn't read defenses particularly well.
