I'm very happy for him to get a shot, but that seems very uphill. Jameis Winston, Andy Dalton, Ian Book has to be one of the better QB depth charts in the league. Saints basically giving Costello a chance to become a practice squad player.Totally agree. He didn't have Andrew Luck's marvelous natural ability. There were complaints about this and that. What he did was take what he had and win. Few guys do that. He is indeed "the man".
Very happy for Hogan's continued opportunities as well. In some ways arguably the most underrated/under-appreciated Stanford player of all time. Not saying folks here don't appreciate him, but he's the greatest winner we ever had, played well multiple years, and was truly sublime his senior year. If he hadn't been dealing with his dad's death in 2014 and as a result partly held us back from a better season I think he'd get much more love. It also didn't help to follow an unfollowable act. But Hogan is the man.
