However, the problem is that the things that "make" Brady a winner are intangibles that are impossible to measure. Lots of guys seem to have all the intangibles and it just doesn't work out. For others, it does.Nobody knows why. Kevin Hogan got his chance at least partially because Shaw had more faith in him than others did. It was a feeling. Coaches don't like admitting they are relying on their feelings, so they fall back to the other things that are at least somewhat measurable.
