Stanford avoids Oklahoma, but gets a stiff regional test being sent to Tuscaloosa as the #2 regional seed there.
Favorable 2-3 matchup with Murray State (as compared to South Dakota State last year), but winning a regional
at Alabama will be tough.
With our RPI, and our kind of up-and-down Pac play (big series wins over ASU, UCLA and on road at UA),
but then letdowns against Cal especially but also at home to Oregon, probably means this is fair
and about as good as we could expect (will have to see final 8 regionals before I can say definitively).
Arizona with a favorable regional assignment, getting Illinois and Missouri in Columbia, MO. Comparatively, we should have been sent here over either of these teams (Illinois or Arizona).
