Anyway, your comments sound like they come from someone who saw few or no Mavericks game this year. I'm not saying the Mavs will win the series (as I said before game 1--I didn't have a strong sense of who would win the series). But you're making some pretty big conclusions from a single bad game. Like I said, you could've made similar conclusions after watching games 1 or 2 of the Phoenix series. Let's wait and see where we are after, say, 3 games.
I watched a few Dallas games after the Porzingus trade and was impressed. In fact, I was terrified the Mavs would eke out W's for the #3 seed up until the last game. But the playoffs are a different animal than the regular season and it looks to me like the Warriors have proven they are a better team now than they were two months ago. W's taking the series with Memphis - even without Morant for 3 games - was really impressive to me. They have just as many good players as the W's, IMO, maybe even more.
I like to make my predictions before series start because that's the real test of one's knowledge. I'm so confident in my prediction I don't need to wait until Game 3. I called my shot before they tipped Game 1. The Mavs (or W's) could make it a closer Game 2, but I don't see the W's dropping Game 2 if they are as superior as I believe they are. And I am certain the W's will win at least one game in Dallas, so w's in 4, 5 max.
Now you can rip me if Mavs win Game 2 or both 3 & 4. :)
Bad feeling about Celtics tonight. Horford still out. Derrick White is now out. Smart probably will play with limited ability. Not good.
