Little interest on Cardboard for a Stanford sport making a big improvement with a bright future.

Stanford arguably had the easiest path to the World Series but the bats didn't come through when needed.  In the regional Stanford played a team that went into a slump the end of the season.  Plus their top pitcher seemed to be off her A game for most of the series.

Stanford was in one of two super regionals having no seeded team.  OSU is very talented and got hot at the right time of the season.  Best of luck to them.

Softball and baseball can be like that.  There is no hotter team in baseball than Stanford right now, and yet, we could easily lose in the regional.  You just have to get hot at the right time.  Real bummer we didn’t make it; just have to hope for a little more offense next year to break through.
