I re-read the gostanford article on our incoming recruiting class, and I don't think my previous statement
conveyed enough how good the incoming class is. Not only was it a Top 10 class in the country, and
third in the Pac (which could have half the WCWS teams after today if ASU wins; Pac has clearly at least for this year,
re-established itself as the premier softball conference after the SEC across the board massively underperformed expectations and their seeding),
4 out of the 5 are top 30
recruits. 

The key is whether our incoming recruits are able to hit for power (at least gap-to-gap if we aren't able to 
get more HR power), and also boost averages at the middle to bottom of the lineup. 

As I think BC said, even a deep, well positioned team can lose in NCAA tourney (though softball at least prior to
this year has been a lot more favorable to home hosts and chalk than baseball). However, I think next year
our team could be like Northwestern has been this year (a consistent top 10 team, regional host, and WCWS and national championship contender).
