Come to think of it, Stanford's 2022-2023 current recruits from the USA
make up a pretty good starting 5, filling up all 5 positions:
SF - Courtney OGDEN 6'1 (Class of 2023, 2022 USA U18)
PF - Nunu AGARA 6'2 (Class of 2023, 2022 USA U17)
CC - Lauren BETTS 6'7 (Class of 2022, 2019 USA U16, 2021 USA U19)
SG - Indya NIVAR 5'10 (Class of 2022, 2022 USA U18)
PG - Talana LEPOLO 5'7 (Class of 2022)
Reserve:
SF/SG - Stavi PAPADAKI 6'0 (Class of 2022, Greece Junior National Team)
Caught parts of USA U18 dominating win against Puerto Rico. Nivar quite impressive coming off the bench. She scored 10 points, made good decisions including several assists. When she was in, she was playing PG. While the quality of the opposition was not the best, Indya not only orchestrated the offense, but made some nifty moves, driving to the key and shooting. I thought her defense was equally impressive. Not able to see much of Ogden.
