Maybe a long shot but I will predict right now. If Shaylee comes to Stanford, The Cardinal win the championship. She is an elite guard with all the skills and would be the missing link. Think of the damage she could do to the opposition. Her presence alone would keep teams from double-teaming Haley and Brink. Stanford would become a 3-headed monster. You might recall her 30+ point game against us in Maples a few seasons ago in round 2 of the NCAA's. We could not stop her. Keep your fingers crossed.
Yes Gonzales would be a great addition and yes we had trouble stopping her in that tournament game. But part of that was situational. Shannon Coffee had to play a lot of minutes that game and she had trouble stopping any of BYU’s players not just Gonzales. They would screen so that Coffee had to defend a guard and then any of BYU’s guards would literally dribble right by her.
