The travel for UCLA and USC is going to be absolutely miserable. Looking ahead a bit, I wonder if UCLA will separate from USC? Their program isn't as prominent as the Trojans...at the end of the day, will they really want to remain in the B1G? And if their eye wanders, where will it wander to?
Remote possibilities:
- UCLA to the Big10 stopped by the Regents.
- Utah and Colorado go to the Big 12
- The Pac 12 is now the Pac 9, with each team (football) playing each other (8 conference games) with 4 non-conference games.
- USC is kicked out of the Big 10 for dishonesty of a higher level.
- USC's request to rejoin the Pac 9 is rejected, USC the becomes a member of the Correctional League.
- The LA Coliseum is acquired by the LA County Waste-Water Treatment District and is used for a compositing facility to handle the vast amounts of sewage sludge.
