DeShawn Watson was suspended for six games, which seems like a slap in the wrist. The NFL agrees, and has appealed his suspension, with a final decision by Roger Goodell. One reasonable outcome is a one year suspension after the appeal. (As an aside, the allegations, from multiple women, were credible and publicly known. WTF were the Browns thinking trading three!!! first round picks and signing him for a record setting contract.)
How is this relevant to the Niners?

Beyond Watson, the Browns have Josh Donna, Josh Rosen (really?) and Jacoby Brissett. The Athletic thinks that if Watson is supended for a year, the Browns might make a play for Jimmy Garoppolo. Good for the Niners, the Browns what they deserve.
