Blokhina won the singles gold medal at the Maccabiah Games in Israel, in the championship match defeating, in two sets, Vivian Ovrootsky who as a freshman played #6 singles last year for national champion Texas. Seems like a decent win for her. She also paired with Ovrootsky to win the doubles title.
