Funny how it's too early to critique Lance and Kinlaw (who has been critical of Kinlaw, btw) two games into their second season, yet it's perfectly acceptable to anoint two basically rookie guards after just two games against crappy opponents.

A Reactionary Prisoner of the Moment.

Performance is judged by the ability to do things. When a young player can't do them, it doesn't mean they won't be able to in the future as they gain experience, mature,  and improve techniques. But when they have proven they can do them, it shows they can. Like once you ride a bike, you know how to ride one forever.

This isn't baseball. It's not like Burford and Banks are feasting on fastballs and pitchers will discover they can be neutralized with breaking balls.  Burford and Banks demonstrate excellent movement and recognition skills. Maybe they aren't as good in pass protection as run blocking, but what they have put on video over the first two weeks run blocking demonstrates ability that isn't going to go away against better competition. They will only improve as they gain more experience with their line mates. 

The Niners yield 2.6 YPC, the fewest in the NFL. Kinlaw is a big reason why this is the case.
