The reactionary prisoners of the moment who can't seem to grasp that how a young player performs today is not how that player will perform tomorrow, were 100% convinced Aaron Banks was a bust simply because he didn't play in 2021 as a rookie 2nd round pick. The same types have also declared Trey Lance and Javon Kinlaw to be failures too. Kinlaw is looking very good so far this year, and now we have to wait even longer to see what Lance can do as he gains experience, but he can in no way be written off.

Many Niners fans were convinced the OL would be weak this year. Well, not so far. This video shows some really impressive work in particular by the essentially two rookie Guards, Banks and Burford.

I have zero complaints with the young OL. They are holding their own and will continue improving. It's not the problem for the Niners, though sans Trent Williams the OL might be an area of concern. Turnovers and the piss poor passing game production is why the Niners are 1-2 and not 3-0.
