So what you're saying is we need Billy Beane to replace Shaw?!  He almost came to Stanford once!  Sabre metrics - at this point I'm open for some positive, data driven change.  The Win/Loss data seems pretty obvious at this point.

Not Billy Beane... How about Derek Mason, now the DefCo at OKST making just $1.1M after being fired at Vandy. 
Vandy is an EVEN WORSE purgatory than Stanford -- in the SEC.  We need a Defense.  
The best Defenses were had were the one year under Vic Fangio, who took Mason (2010-2013) on as protege
